Batman - The comic book T.V. series hits the big screen. An wicked and diabolical criminal, recognized as The Joker, is trying to take over Gotham City. The police are unable to stop him. The city is in danger, until a new super hero emerges. An unidentified force, so to be called Batman comes on the scene and defeats The Joker and save the city.

Kimberley Jim - Little musical of 2 happy-go-lucky gamblers who win a fortune in a fixed poker game, and then have a change of heart. Cast includes Jim Reeves, Madeleine Guide, Clive Pamell, Arthur Swemmer, and Mike Holt. (82 minutes,'65)

The Leading Man - British backstage show romance in regards to an American film megastar who seduces a playwright's depressed spouse and his leading-woman mistress. When it might not make up its mind whether it is a comedy tirade or a light thriller, it is still very humorous stuff. Bon Jovi is excellent as the foolhardy, unethical Yankee, and Galiena and Newton are fetching as the females trapped in his web. Cast includes Jon Bon Jovi, Anna Galiena, Lambert Wilson, Thandie Newton, Barry Humphries, and David Warner. (100 minutes,'97)

Richard's Things - Widow Ullmann is seduced by her now deceased spouse's lady friend. Screenplay by Frederic Raphael based on his novel. Cast includes Liv Ullmann, Amanda Redman, Tim Smith, Elizabeth Spriggs, and David Markha. (104 minutes,'80)

Clue - Silly and insipid whodunit based on the fashionable board game of the same name with all the identifiable characters Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Red, et al. assembled for a murderous day in a Victorian mansion. Everyone tries enormously hard but there is nothing they can do to save this weak film. Cast includes Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Ponder, and Howard Hesseman. (87 minutes,'85)

It Takes All Kinds - Fair triple-cross drama in reference to Miles' guarding of Lansing after the man accidentally murders a sailor in a fight in Australia. Cast includes Vera Miles, Barry Sullivan, Sid Melton, and Dime Sugg. (98 minutes,'69)

Dingo - An unexpected appearance by jazz trumpeter Billy Cross (Davis) in a youngster's rural town empowers him to become a musician himself. Now grown up, he still fantasies of playing for a living and honoring his lifelong hero. This friendly but dull paced tale is kindled by Miles Davis' dynamic presence and fawning behavior. Cast includes Colin Friels, Miles Davis, Helen Buday, Joe Petruzzi, Bernadette Lafont, and Bernard Fresson. (108 minutes,'91)
